Rev. Kelvin Freeman is no stranger to the Gospel. He is the third generation of preachers in his family. Reverend Kelvin Freeman has been preaching the Gospel since December 8th, 2002. He has pastored five churches: Mt. Airy AME Zion Church, Greater Fair Plains AME Zion Church, Camp Fire AME Zion Church, Hunters Chapel, AME Zion Church, and Saint Matthews Metropolitan AME Zion Church. He decided to further his education in August 2018 to better equip himself for the ministry and the church. In 2018, Reverend Kelvin Freeman attended Hood Theological Seminary and Salisbury, NC, where he graduated with his Master of Divinity in May 2023. Now, he is pursuing his Doctor of Ministry at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH. He is the proud father of three sons, Brandon Robinson, Malik Freeman, and Quinton Freeman. He is the youngest of four children and the son of Rev. B.W. Freeman and Annie Bell Freeman. Reverend Kelvin Freeman has also been a Barber stylist for 36 years. His greatest passage is Luke 4:18: “The spirit of the Lord is upon Me because He hath anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He hath sent Me sent to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.”
